Exactly. Every sub after the original is really a different watch. So I prefer the models that make my heart race.

None of the above imo.

It’d be a toss up between a 6200/6538/5510/5514 for me

Thanks was amazing watch. Came with the original Big Logo bracelet and superb condition. It now sits with one of top collectors around and worth roughly $500,000 although he’ll never sell it.

I should have included some of the earlier references. I realize some might be considered the greatest sub.

I dunno. Given the history, and the Bond lore, I'd say stainless in black is more iconic, regardless of what one might prefer to own. As for the specific model, I can't say. I like the six-digit versions, have a passing knowledge of the five-digit iterations before them, and am completely ignorant of older vintages.

Edit: N/M For future reference, it helps to quote posts you're replying to, to avoid confusion.

I think the 5513 is probably right up there. I suppose it all depends how you define greatest

In the terms of a watch, what is your definition of "greatest"?

Pretty amazing. Was the watch in your family or did you purchase it?

I purchased it off top vintage person from NY. Truly a perfect specimen with dial to die for. There are many pics of it and many others posted years ago in vintage section.

As the 6538 isn’t an option I’d go with 5513

6538 is a beauty; unique on its own from the entire line
