A Rolex I'd buy in 2018

I'd buy immediately an Explorer I with date, cyclops, and red date numbers. Better yet if with the new movement.

What would you run to your AD for...?

Sub with slimmer lugs and new movement. But then I'd be #5,670,763 on the waiting list.

Free coffee and disappointment there are no SS sports models in the case.

At my age, I've probably bought my last Rolex, but a 40mm Submariner with slimmer lugs would be quite enticing for me.

Humm, I know the Explorer as described is a no go. However, I’m already listed (#1) at my friendly AD for a new Sub if that were the case, and as long as it remains at 40mm.

SS GMT Pepsi, red letter sub, platinum sub (brown bezel/blue dial), black or white 116500, SD43, and the James Cameron SD.... otherwise I'm set for the year.

WG Ceramic Daytona on bracelet with the steel Panda dial.

Otherwise I'm in a spot where I'm happy with the Rolexes I have.

Coke bezel GMT in steel with a fully brushed bracelet.

Probably a Pepsi bezel too, all else equal.

I want one too but I still want this at a good discount like the old days so probably no deal.

If they brought back the old Explorer Date 5700 or 5701, I would seriously consider buying one, too.

Maybe a ceramic coke. But since I already have a BLNR and have no desire to get rid of it I don’t think I actually would. I think I’m going to try to get a 16710 coke in 2018 instead.

A ceramic bezel explorer II with the current dial options.

The only thing holding me back is I am not attracted to the current bezel, and it doesn't appear to age well.
