Answer about Submariner 16800 dial

Hi Everybody, i have a question for you.
I have a submariner 16800 serial number 7268.......which was his original dial?

That serial number comes up as 1981 which is early for the 16800. I believe 1981 should be a matte dial.

Definitely should be a matte dial.

like everybody says matte dial... This looks like a service dial... Either 16800/transitioned/Bad formula dial or 16610
