312

I never like the 'fang' power reserve. I do like the circular power reserve in the 323. It blends in vs the fang power reserve

if only they make 323 in Luminor case...

I have the 312. Got it last year from the flagship in NYC. LOVE IT. Has a meaty feel and really runs smooth. The power reserve feels more than the stated 72 hours to me too, though I've never just tested it out right. I like the ease of swapping out straps on it - usually wear it on the rubber strap, but bought the red croc and blue croc straps for it as well as a few other more subtle ones. 233 and 270 are definitely sweet too, but I like the simple look of the 312 best.

Pam233

My first ever purchase of a Panerai was the 233 and I have not looked back.
The extra cost is well worth it and it pays me back everytime I look at it.
My personal opinion of course....

The 312 represents the best value out of the three. 1950 case with in-house movement and clean dial. Yummy!

I heard that the PR can be longer but running the watch within the stated PR will not affect the accuracy of the watch, after the PR it may run but lose that accuracy.

233 no question. 312 is a distant distant third.

Tried on a 270, 233 and 312 recently.......definitely between the 233 & 312 - I just can't get round whether it's the price difference that's affecting my thinking. The 312 had a fantastic feel on the wrist - have to say.

I've tried on all 3 and while I do like the auto of the 270 I find that the relative slenderness of the 233 makes it the most comfortable watch of the three of them, on top of being the most visually appealing as well.

The 233 looks so nice. I used to own the 312, but the 233 is something special.

I love my 233. If I bought a new Panerai, I would get the 270, partly because I need a gmt, all my watches are gmt's, but it's quite expensive. The 312 is a beauty as well and probably more reasonable. The 233 is amazing, especially the dot one if you can find one. It has become my daily watch after years of wearing a Rolex gmt2 Coke... I love the 7 days reserve.

You only get 7 days? I notice I get close to 10 on my 233 off of a full wind

Same here... I actually get a little bit more than 10 days, almost 10.5 days.
