The daytona is extremely comfortable to wear, looks awesome, and is THE desirable piece for resale. The speed master on the other hand…has the space history. For me the daytona will never be as special. If you are deep into the speed master, the snoopy and ed white are at the top. If you are getting your feet wet, get a speed master 1861 hesalite used.

I'd probably go Snoopy because I don't like the hype of the Daytona.

Both are great watches and great history behind them. They both wear different.
1- Size: Daytona 40 mm vs Snoopy 42 mm
2- Bracelet: Daytona has a better and more secure bracelet. Snoopy come with a leather strap that’s too stiff. Most people, including myself, buy a bracelet. The omega bracelet is very comfortable and won’t scratch at easily as the Rolex bracelet. Rolex has a better micro adjustment system. Rolex wins in the bracelet category.
3- movement: Daytona is self winding vs Omegas manual wind. It’s pretty tough to wind the snoopy. Omega has a great historic movement but it’s gets annoying winding it every other day. The snoopy case back is super cool. My daughter loves looking at it.
4- pushers on Rolex are annoying. Omegas chronograph is more practical and user friendly.
5- both have bad lume
6- dial: Daytona has a boring white dial. Snoopy wins here. Snoopy has a silver dial. It appears white under different lighting.
Hope this helps a little!

Snoopy all the way. I own the second version, and currently negotiating with a reseller for the latest.

Snoopy 50th vs Daytona 116500ln. What chronograph would you choose?

Leave the Daytona…
Take the cannoli…

Errr
I mean get the Snoopy.

Some will wonder - but take a good look. For less on the secondary market the Snoopy will keep time just as well as a Daytona.

Snoopy for sure. Watchfinder did a brilliant review on history of the watch which sold me. Daytona although difficult to buy at AD has become like a ubiquitous corporate uniform in the workplace.

Have to chime in and say the same. The 321 is more special in my view than the Snoopy 50th.

I like the Snoopy, but between the two, the Daytona would be my choice.

I was going to say …

Tool wise, the Speedy wins this race.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: One went to the moon and the other was photographed on the salad dressing guy.

To me if you want a Snoopy, get the 45th anniversary. That watch is spectacular.

Otherwise EW321>Daytona>Snoopy 50th.

This. I'm not 11. I don't need Snoopy on my wrist. I love the classic Speedmaster, though.

Well yeah, fanboys gonna fan, even really rich ones. Not that I have a problem with it or anything. What do you think Buzz's moonwatch would go for? I'd guess probably more than that.

Daytona. I honestly just don’t really understand the Omega Snoopy. I know the backstory but don’t get it still. I may just be uneducated swine in the chrono world.
