It's funny to read so many posts knocking the Omega as a gimmick watch and pushing the Daytona. Just check out the case back on the Omega which is more special than anything Rolex produces. Like the esthetics of the dial and bezel more on the Snoopy as well. But I'm not gonna knock the Daytona it's a great watch. OP should get what speaks to him/her.

If you asked any kids, they will say Snoopy.

I had Snoopy and traded him for Daytona. Whether I did the right thing, time will tell.

I'm not a real fan of the Snoopy, but love the legibility, heritage and feel of the hesalite black dial Speedy. I also really like the display back on the Speedy - so cool, but not what I have. My wife bought me the 4030 Daytona for an anniversary present. Great watch in the daylight, but very difficult to read in low light. 4130's may be better.

I’d say, the one for adults: Snoopy!

I agree. Moonswatch is arguably fitting for kids, preps them for the snoopy in adulthood.

I own a speedy as well as a ceramic daytona. If I had to choose between my 2, the daytona would win but not by much. I think the daytona wears a bit small, and I dislike the polished center links getting smudges all the time.

Between the snoopy and the white dial daytona... If you put the snoopy on a bracelet it becomes a better comparison - I think I would still pick the daytona though. I think the speedy just feels a little less special in the end - because they make so many different versions and limited edition/production pieces.

If you are looking for special, the daytona is the more special watch. And the market price reflects it.

Snoopy 50th vs Daytona 116500ln. What chronograph would you choose?

I have both (Snoopy thanks to an amazing friend from here via his OB).

I love them both equally. Different watches totally. Get both if you can. If not, prob Snoopy first IMHO. It will be discontinued at some stage.

Tough choice. If paying retail; Daytona. If paying market price; Snoopy

That is a good answer. I will add: it also depends on where the watch would sit in the collection: as a more regular wear, or perhaps as an occasional special piece. The Snoopy (in particular the 45th) is a real collectors watch and would probably only make the occasional appearance - it is a watch only the cognoscenti would appreciate for rarity and unique value. The Daytona is a great daily wearer, and is instantly recognisable for what it is.

I would love the Snoopy, but only to add and build to my collection as a special. The Daytona already gets regular wear.
