This definitely looks much better than 40mm . The only problem is the availability and waiting which is kind of ridiculous at minimum of a year here in Perth, W.Australia. In 2010 I was travelling through Frankfurt Germany and walked into Bucherer and bought a SS GMT 2 C with a bit of a discount and a significant net VAT; 2013 a TT Daytona Cosmograph with a blue arabic dial from Pisa Orologeria in Milan Italy with a significant discount and even higher net VAT refund. These watches had a order and a waiting time in my homecity of approx 6 months. Now the order and waiting time has totally become extremely long. Hopefully it will become back to a normal situation whereby a customer can walk into a AD and just buy it there and then. Will be in Venice next year and if its available at Salvadori ;there and then I will just pick it up rather than wait for another year .

Agreed. It can also take a deeper navy blue hue on an overcast day, which I really like.

This model would definitely be significantly more pleasant to look at as there is a lot more variations in different aspects of light. The previous model which I almost bought in 2017 whilst on a trip to Nova Scotia was really nice to look at but I think this would be exceptional in real life .

Me too! It should come with a safety warning.

I know not a grail status watch for most if not all here, but it is certainly for me :) Pardon the iPhone pics..

Royal blue brilliance can’t be captured by camera. One must see it in person. Here are pics compared to bright blue DJ dial and overcast picture.

Stunning! Congrats.

I've been waiting for years, decided to go grey with Takuya. No regrets but don't want to pay $7k over retail for a LV hehe. Well worth it as I am not getting any younger. I get to enjoy Bluesy a little earlier in life lol.

Check out the AR coating in action with a quick iPhone photo here...

Cool shot. Have considered grey but the prices are significantly more these days. Will check out Takuya though. Usually people tend to go with David SW.
