Panerai suggestions?

Hi there,

I am looking to venture into the world on Panerai. I have rolex, omega and initially was not drawn to panerai, but now find it more and more appealing and very unique in appearance.

I am looking for either new and old with the following:
-under 5K preferably
-42mm or greater
-black band
-date and second hand
-?crown protector

reserve time not that important.

thanks

I wouldn't worry about the strap, as you can easily source a black OEM or non-OEM strap.

As for your other requirements, look to a 312 or 104.

Date, crown protector, second hand, 42mm or above then there's only one choice. 359

thanks for all the suggestions. After doing some research, I have decided that I would prefer to have the '3' rather than the date and also prefer to have '9' and a second hand.

Any help?

My vote goes for one of these: 005, 111/112, or 312 (I personally own PAM312). Maybe this article can be of some help: https://paneraireview.com/panerai-tu...panerai-watch/
