If I ever find myself in the southwest I definitely want to get a well made, well fitted pair of black, square toe harness boots. I have a pair I wear riding my motorcycle but even the "wide" are not quite wide enough and hurt my feet for days.

Have a pair of Lucchese 1883- the distressed goat. They've got the snip toe and the tall heels. Love 'em. And they're comfy. Only issue is the steel shank broke through the leather sole. I can still wear them but they're on their way out. Other issue is that they suck in cold- no traction on ice/snow and my feet are freezing. My last job was fine wearing them. Current job- it's a bit much so it's a pair of lovely Allen Edmunds loafers. But I do miss my boots...

Thinking I can get away with some Lucchese Sumter Roper boots at work...

But I do like the barton springs by Heritage boot:

Pulled out some boots last night for cleaning/conditioning. The exotics have boot trees in them so the shape may look funny. 2 pair of full quill ostrich, 1 pair of crocodile/caiman belly, and 1 pair of goat.

I'll have to find a boot store to try on some of those babies! I prefer short tops, though. Beautiful boots here!

I have a pair of snakeskin boots from the late 80's. They still fit, so I'm golden. Just need to grow another mullet.

That and a solid gold presidential with diamonds. That was the watch to have for any slimy local who made big bucks. No pair of snake skins was complete without one!

Yep!! That's the exact watch Don Johnson always wore in Miami Vice.
