Hi,
As i travel often i was wondering if PP is sold on airports worldwide?
Plenty of Rolex,Jaeger,Iwc,Omega,......have i seen in the past at airport watch boutiques.

Simple answer is no. I don't know if this is Patek's policy or local ADs' policy, but you will not see Patek for sale at airports.

I remember hearing about a PP policy of no sale on airports. This is not a fact, just something i heard. Would make sense though?

Messrs. Aseman Kello used to sell Patek in Helsinki-Vantaa airport. They lost the agency but as far as I understood correctly from Patek, the location wasn't the only reason. You probably notice that Aseman Kello did not get Patek to their downtown shops.

I do not really think that airports are the right environment for Patek. You do not buy those based on a sudden inspiration.

Correct Kari,Although many other high ends watch brands are often represented on airports worldwide and buying taxfree might be an extra selling point especially for the slow moving models.....

I work in airports, have been to over 100 of them, and have never seen Patek for sale. I have seen them advertised though.

Same here! Frequent traveler. See them advertised, but never for sale.
