My 5711 Has a Brother From a Different Mother

A few weeks ago I received a call my 5711 arrived. It was originally expected before the end of the year. Couldn't get to the AD until this past Saturday. It is the first time I've seen one in the flesh.

When I tried one on it looked like that and that's what put me off. In other lights it looks more blue.

White looks great there, I like the new crisper dial text and the date surround.

Why does Patek let this happen. They should buy this watch to find the AD that sold it and yank his dealership.

Frankly I am a little disappointed in the watch for that reason. In most light it reads gray.

Is it just me or does it seem the logo printing on the white dial is lower than the blue?

Agree. The embossment of the name is different too. Are all Nauts like this where it varies?

Insane amount of money,(Patek has no right now "with all the poor QC" to demand going over retail) ; like other member said in another thread : if you want it just be ready with routing number and account number at hand and call every single AD in the US and you can get it.

Does anyone have more info about this? I was looking for similar watches but they look different from this one.

The writing is different between the 5711 variants:

5711/1A-010 (blue face, steel) has the writing on the ridges.
This is also the only variant without a framed date window.

The others have writing on a filled in area between the ridges:
5711/1A-011 (white face, steel), 5711/1R-001, 5711/1P (Both the original and 40th Anniv. Pt models)

Congrats, imcarnuts — they look great together!
