You also should work directly with Patrick at HSWA. He is a gentleman and a veteran. He will do everything in his power to ensure you and your watch are treated right.

I am surprised you are staying loyal to the brand with your recent prospective incoming threads given your service experience. High quality and rapid after sales should be expected at this level.

I am sorry to hear of your poor experiences.

I think the problem is in service department, nothing to do with AD. Of course, nice AD will help to solve the problem. I am 100% sure that I will not send my watches for maintenance unless I have to do it. This means maintenance is not just spending money, it is a nightmare for me. I can't expect what will happen to my nice watches.

No one is saying it's your AD.

However, at the end of the day Patek is responsible for their watches not any AD. Patek needs fix the issues. It's great your AD sends you nice gifts--charming.

But when Patek puts wrong screws in 5160 that seems very strange. So hope you get it worked out.

Boodles AD is the best AD for me at the moment. I don't care AD in Taiwan. Do not like them very much. I think PP should do something on service department to make his customers happy.

A good watch means to me is including good service after sale.

I don't know if Patek has extra engraved screws for the 5160 readily available, at least in the same metal color since the 5160R is now discontinued. However they can certainly make a new engraved screw and send it to the AD to remedy this situation. However I imagine this will probably take time, weeks or even a few months, because of the special engraving that needs to be done.

It is not a big problem for me, but the problem is time and patient. The service department should do it better to save our time and his time and to keep his good reputation for the brand, not to scare his customers away.

Agree Patrick is a good guy to deal with.

Bummer about the screw, Patek should certainly make that right regardless of warranty period

George- send it over - my son says he needs the practice...it will be faster than Geneva but think it may affect the warranty (depending if its transferable or not of course!)

Forget the enamel watch Brian. Those pieces have butterflies, birds, flowers, and animals on them although still beautiful. You already have some amazing Enamel World Timers. Go for a 5088P. It is a rare handcraft piece and pretty cool. Do I need to call Jamie for You and place an order? LOL!
