SS Sky-dwellers discontinued next year?

Just wondering thoughts on the SS Sky-dweller with Blue/White/Black dials being discontinued with SS bracelets and all being converted to Oysterflex bands?

0.

Oyster flex looks to be gold watches only. With that said would I be happy if they did discontinue my watch - yes.

They're already discontinued. Didn't you read the memo under the TPS cover sheet?

About as much chance as the Day Date’s President being replaced by a NATO.

Did you hear this somewhere? Or is this just a random thought that you had?

Nah the SS version will probably be around for a while. I absolutely recommend it in steel.

If you follow Rolex history, mostly they wait 10 years before making any changes or discontinuing any current lineup. I’m not sure when the the sky dweller was first released.

Straps - leather or Oysterflex - are only on gold watches for Rolex as a brand. Plus I believe the steel Sky-Dweller came out about three years ago - you would see new dials before a shift like that.

We are talking Oysterflex, made out of Titanium and clad with rubber.

Not to be confused with a simple stamped piece like RubberB

Or a rubber strap with a band of metal in it.

The Sky Dweller SS will be just as unobtainable next year as it is this year and was last year. Not quite discontinued but close, same as usual.
