Would you flip it?
Hi,
currently I have a 14060M from 2007 in excellent condition and I must say I just love that watch. However, I always had a weak spot for the Yachtmaster - I guess one could argue that the Yachtm. is only a flashier Sub. Now, I found someone who is selling their Yachtmaster 2004 with a dark blue dial. Would you flip the 14060M for a Yachtmaster ? [excluding the most reasonable answer "keep the 14060M and get the Yachtmaster" ] |

Me personally, no I would not do it. I would keep the 14060M. This is a classic and I personally do not care for the Yachtmaster. Again this is my opinion. Sounds like you have a liking for the YM. If so, do it and wear the YM for a while and see. You can always go back to the 14060M.
Good luck. Let us know what you decide. |

If it makes you happy, they're reasonably different in looks, if not function

You love your Sub. I wouldn't do it. I have a feeling you'll regret it later. Save up for the YM.

I'd stick with the 14060M too. While you may like the Yachtmaster, you may want to consider the ratio of replies against it here. If nothing else, it suggests selling it would be more difficult than selling the 14060M, should you ever tire of the Yachtmaster.

Obviously, do what you think is right, but it were me, I wouldn't flip the sub. If I liked the YM, I'd just add it to the stable.

I would keep the 14060 too. Did they make SS (platinum) Blue YMs back then, or is this a two tone or gold?
