FS: Longines 'Calatrava' 6250, cal. 22A automatic from 1951 - $1,800

Selling another fairly rare piece from my collection that has not been worn in quite some time. 35mm stainless steel screwback case in the 'Calatrava' style with the very first Longines caliber 22A automatic movement. '809' is stamped on the underside of one of the lugs - I do not think that this case has ever been polished or refinished. The lovely dial has Breguet style numerals at the 3,6,9 and 12 positions - very cool arrowhead markers at the other positions. Watch runs well, keeps excellent time and has good power reserve however, I do not know the service history of this watch. Extract from the Archives will accompany this watch and it will be fitted with a genuine period correct alligator strap. I will also include the factory Longines tang buckle that came with this watch! $1,800 (net) plus actual shipping for this rare Longines. Please e-mail me at: mr_shui@hotmail.com with any questions and I will answer promptly. I have numerous references from TRF and other forums and I will offer a 3 day return if this watch is not 100% genuine Longines. Thanks to TRF for the space and thank you for reading this ad.
