OK, if I wanted a fun watch Id get a lime green Gshock. The question was what do Rolex fans think of it. I have Rolex and two Speedmasters. I do not care for this watch at all but Im sure they will sell a bunch. You probably won't be able to buy on less than $12k in December and you'll likely not be able to sell one for more than $8000 in March.

Love the new Snoopy. Great in every way. Really knocked it out of the park.

I respect that Nasa and Snoopy have a strong connection, and I could be wrong of course but I think it's something more relevant to our american members. To me, albeit knowing it's significance, this is just another watch with a cartoon dog on the dial that I'd never buy.

[QUOTE=365DAS;10976334]I don’t believe this watch will be a limited edition so in theory should be easier to get hold of

Daytonas are not limited edition either... good luck getting one at a boutique

It would be limited as production as it’s more difficult to produced than a standard and on the long run .. they will stop production so definitely more exclusive than Rolex sport models

I have a rule that watches need to have something about the dial and/or reverse that really impresses (preferably both), this piece does impress on both the dial and the reverse so it's a big thumbs up from me. With reference to the thread being for Rolex fans and their thoughts about the piece, my counter take would be that Rolex make good tool watches but the dial excitement is limited to a few models and the chance to impress on the reverse is absolutely non existent - Rolex simply couldn't come up with such a piece which I think is a shame as the world needs a bit of whimsy.
Absolutely right I

Lovely watch, I would consider it. But Omega is riding on the hype for a 10K watch.

I think they're too busy getting on lists to get on a list. I'm loving what Omega is doing.

Just not feeling the blue. I think anyone who speculates on this, better flip it early. I don't see it being nearly as popular as the previous generation.
