First Panerai

I have multiple SS Rolex watches and I felt that I wanted something a little different to wear just to keep things interesting. I picked up this mint pre-owned PAM 392 with box and papers at a Panerai AD for a very good price. It definitely wears differently to a Rolex and having a leather strap takes a little getting used to. I’m happy to have it in my rotation.

Congrats and yeah it does wear different. On my wrist the rubber straps perrrrfectly 'hug' my wrist and feels great. Congrats again, enjoy your time.

Fantastic. I hope this time next year I’ll make the same “My First Panerai” posting.

It was close this year, but my 124060 came in faster than I could have pulled the trigger on the PAM 1499 I’ve been eyeing.

Wife imposed one watch per year limit.

Congratulations, you’ve entered the dark side! Once that strap softens you’ll never take it off.

Congratulations

You’re right, for their size they wear very comfortably as compared to similar sized watches in other brands

Congrats! Thats a nice looker.. I'm still looking/thinking, I got real close but having a hard time pulling the trigger on one even with a good discount. I'm not a strap guy but with a Panerai I hear it will turn you into a strap collector. Enjoy!!...

I’d take that as January 1st
Only downside is another 364 days to wait
