Interesting, you can throw the same NATO Strap on a Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial and other than a lollipop seconds hand, slightly different numbers on the bezel as well as slightly different font size on dial, it’s the same watch.

Anyway, both great!!

You could easily say the same about the NTTD edition.

To me, the changes of the Spectre differentiate the piece significant from the regular 300.

I have owned both, and have always come back to the Spectre.

You could say it but the differences are hardly as subtle. It would be difficult for most to see the difference between the 300 and the Spectre. I remember when the watch came out, I had to point out the differences to the sales people at an Omega Boutique. At first glance, The NTTD, has a very different overall look than a Seamaster. Anyway, love them both!

Here’s a pic, from an older article, promoting Spectre watch, using 300 Master Co-Axial

Interesting comments so far. For of you that chose the Spectre, in this battle pf Bond watches, is it because you don't like the NTTD or because you just really like the Spectre.....or maybe, both??

I like the NTTD here. But not enough that I’d really consider buying one.

I have owned both and enjoyed the NTTD more. I also prefer the titanium mesh bracelet for a different look and feel. In the end both moved on but I will buy the NTTD watch back once it is readily available in the secondary market and the price has adjusted accordingly.

Bond wore a Rolex with no commercial deal. The last Bond was Timothy Dalton.

Ok fine. Just my opinion. If it helps I had the Spectre and thought it was a pretty decent watch with good heritage.m. Not sure about the most recent one with the faux patina. I don’t think it would be me. HTH

But it wouldn’t have the lollipop hand, slightly different font and different bezel :P

Cheers

Have both and the Spectre is perfect. The NTTD is very different in looks and wears differently, too, so not a duplicate diver.
