Milgauss: Blue or Black dial?

For the modern Milgaus which dial color would you choose? The black or z blue?

I went for the black mainly because I thought it looked a little more subdued and less going on than the blue dialed version. I thought with the orange lettering and green glass, the blue dial was just too much.

I went white but you won't go wrong. Milgauss is a cool watch.

Black as I have that one.

The blue dial does look good in sunshine though!

I had a black non lv but the Zblue kept haunting me so finally one day I called my AD and struck a deal to trade for it. That was 2.5 years ago and I love the Z as much as the day I got it. However I love all Milgauss and am a big fan of the 3131 movement, it's the smoothest winding of any piece I've ever owned and am thinking of adding a black gv as well.

Saw them side by side. The black dial did it for me, with the two-color lumes and the white and orange dial perimeter (the blue dial perimeter is all orange.)
Either one is a great choice.
Check out the dial under UV light. Under more normal conditions, the lumes are all bluish. Go figure.

Blue for sure. I’ve owned the black. As great as it is, the dial is hard to appreciate because it gets muddled and dull. It’ll eventually wear you thin.

I think the colours are more coherent and well defined on the black GV. The Blue seems a bit random it's colour scheme, and rarely photographs well.

The GV black dial was my first Milgauss . But my current are non-GV white and black, and Z-blue, so you know my preference. My order of preference is white, Z-blue, and non-GV black.

Milgauss: Blue or Black dial?

Black is beautiful; something about the blue just doesn't tie together for me!!! (Morning Sun and Black Dial below!)

Exactly. I found the black dial look “hazy” because of the green glass.

Z-Blue is the most unique. It also has the most color theory going on, but that's a post for another day. The black one is not very crisp.

Something is either unique or it is not. There is no "most", nor other measure of it. It is absolute.

Yet another post for another day, perhaps
