114060 for me — personally prefer the symmetry/purity/simplicity of the Submariner, or “no date” —- plus, owning one sans date further allows me to rationalize adding a bluesy 🟡

If it's your only Rolex, I'd go date. If you have others (or plan to have others) I would go with the classic no date.

Get the no date since you want the no date. I think the no date looks beautiful than the one with date. Tell them politely what you want they would understand. Good luck...

"Date" for daily use. But I have to admit that I really like the symmetry from "no dates".

If you plan to have only one Sub, just wait for the one that you really want.
I like both date and no date. For the look, I think no date Sub looks better, balanced and symmetry but the date is very useful for most people. Sub date is more popular and harder to get than no date Sub.

Don’t settle for what’s being offered and get the no date. FWIW, you can track the date by a couple of clicks counterclockwise everyday and reading it off the lume pip.

I sold my 3 yr. old Date to get the ND. I like it much better.
I found that I would always wear my GMT over the Sub Date, but now I wear the ND more. |

You should ask for what you want. No question about it. Don’t settle because they didn’t understand!

Depends on what else you have. Part of a rotation? No date. Cleanest looking watch they make? No date. Only watch? Date. Need a date? Date.

I would go with the one you want and not what they put you on the list for.

No date for the LN. Such a clean look.
If you want the date, LV is the only way to go for me. |

I ended up with a 114060 and a 168000, so both bases are covered fairly well for me

No date is simple elegance. You'll always have your phone and its calendar
