Date Magnification on 116655

Have a quick question for those who own the 116655 as well as a 116610 submariner.

I just noticed that the magnification of the date on my 116655 is a little bit smaller than my sub date. Anyone else notice the same thing? Just want to make sure I'm not crazy here.

There was a time when Rolex was having magnifier QC issues. It could well be the result of that. Not all magnifiers are the same regardless!!!

Do you happen to know the years when they were having those issues. My YM is a 2016.

2015 / 2016 timeframe is when the cyclops were under powered on some batches. Seems to be random and not all from those years. At the initial onset there were several that sent their watches in to get the cyclops / crystal replaced. You should be able to find threads on this with a search for more details on it

Can you read the date if yes you have nothing to worry and fret about.
