New Pepsi

I tried the new Pepsi on at a Rolex launch event in London yesterday and it was impressive.

Shame about the wait time, would have bought it there and then.

Jubilee bracelet looked and felt better than I'd imagined it would. Still prefer it on an oyster, but didn't stop me adding my name to the waiting list.

The bezel colour looked great, although I would loved to have seen it in daylight rather than indoors with artificial lighting.

The rose gold version was a real surprise. A stunning watch, but expensive. Two tone was very nice and seemed popular. Next to no waiting times on those models.

It's typical the one I want (SS Pepsi) has the longest lead time! Dealer reckons 2 year wait, lands in the UK around August apparently.

Nice to have got to try it on, and hasn't diminished my appetite for one in the slightest.

Nice looking watch. I'm still undecided on it right now, and I need to see one in person to make up my mind. I really want the movement in my BLNR, only for the reason that I get an extra day of power reserve since I don't always wear it on the weekends/rotate other watches.

Since you’ve worn it, could you discern any real difference in size and shape of lugs?

A 2 year wait.....that is beyond ridiculous.

My daily wearer is an old style Sub, where the lugs are smaller and noticeably different. But compared to the newer ceramic Sub and GMT, the lugs felt the same. It was a very well balanced watch on the wrist, I liked it a lot.
