Not sure about being an "actual golfer" but I do play 3 times/wk consistently, and have for 5 months straight, which is when I started. Pretty serious about it though. Handicap down to about 16 and absolutely hooked. I'm in SF and starting to think about incorporating golf into my travels - just played last week in Germany. Would love to gold with my fellow TRF'ers so if anyone is in the area feel free to pm me and I can get us a tee time.

Im less than 24 months into golf but try and get out once a week, North of England. Member with 25 HC as it stands.

The running joke for my lot is... " Its just nice to get out"

Such a great sport ! As long as you take lessons and you play on a regular basis you should be good very fast !
