Thank you all for the well wishes for my dad.

Yep, (knock on wood) he is still healthy as a horse, works part time and continues trying to hit a golf ball strait. Complains about his arthritis but has a good attitude when it comes to getting older. His favorite reply when asked is, " Beats the hell out of the alternative!"

Here is a pick of my Mom and Dad at his B Day party. Not that it is politically correct to tell you but can you believe my mom is 71? People think she barely looks 60.

You got me all choked up! Your Dad's old watch looks perfect on your wrist and his new watch looks perfect on his wrist. What a wonderful legacy.

Outstanding story. I was fortunate enough to give my father a TT Sub a couple of years ago. Thus, I know that you too are beaming with pride. Well done!

BTW, you better save up 'cause your mom will "need" a (another) crown in four years.

Thanks and that's so funny you said that. My mom said to me, " You know, I would gladly give Tricia my old watch for a new TT Rolex but I wouldn't mind if it had a few diamonds on it cuz us girls like a little sparkle!"

Oy...at least I have 4 years before needing to shell out for hers!

Really nice story, I lost my dad a couple of months ago, which made your story even more impactive. Enjoy your time together.

Great story..... Always nice to be able to put a smile on your parents face and repay a small part of the love and nurture they have spent a lifetime giving you.....
