USA rivet endlink repair
Some Jac#ass decided it was cool to take a 20mm end and shave a side down to fit a 19mm watch.....I am sure it happened a lot back in the day when rivets were near worthless.

Are you griping out loud? One option is to send the case of your watch to LAWW and have them add 1mm of metal between the lugs... |

They can be repaired using a laser welder, I've done it many times.
