Datejust, 28, everose

Hi everyone,
I'm from Portugal and new here. And I'm also new at Rolex... and the first Rolex isn't for me, but for my wife... Christmas present... maybe she will learn the way to the dealer...
I just bought the Datejust, steel/rose gold, in 28mm because she has a tiny wrist, with sundust dial, jubilee bracelet and diamonds in the hour markers.
Good choice in woman's repertoire? I know that nowadays fashion demands larger watches, but I hope future confirms that de Datejust is still a safe choice.
What do you think?
Regards

A perfect and very elegant choice for a lady. I think she’ll love it. My wife has a 26mm and a 31mm Datejust and she adores them.

Sounds like a good choice although she could’ve pulled it off with a 31mn but a 28mm Datejust is absolutely fine.
Not a fan of big watches on women.

Sounds like a good choice from your description.

I bought my wife a 36mm a couple of years ago. Just the other day she was commenting on even though she loves the watch, she would not be opposed to something a little smaller.

Sounds like a great choice! That's the exact same watch I bought for my wife and she has very tiny wrists.

That is a beautiful timepiece, she'll love it. You really cannot go wrong with a Datejust. The configuration you've selected is the last word in class and good taste.

You mention the watch features a 'Sundust' dial. Can someone explain the differences between a:

-Sundust
-Sunray
-Sunburst

I've heard these descriptions for years but I'm not certain how these differ in appearance.

Thanks,
Mark

Great choice. My wife chose that configuration only in 26 with an oyster bracelet. She also has small wrists and she loves it. Congrats.

Thank you very much for your kind words.
In fact, I think sundust is very beautiful, a mix of rose shade and pale color (I mean, it doesn't seem shiny, but classy).
How do you see the rose gold vs. yellow gold on such a classical watch like de Datejust? That was my main concern...

The Datejust is already at the AD.
I'll pick it up as soon as posible, and see it, in the final form.
