Omega's Mid Autumn Festival in Malaysia
In conjunction with the Mid Autumn Festival here in Southeast Asia, the local OB hosted a little gathering cum GTG with their customers, many of whom had already, or were going to collect, their Speedmaster Ultraman. Sorry, I didn't take many pictures (of the food, drinks, people, etc...), but we did have a very special guest... was told he was flown in from Japan! The original rubber suit, apparently.
They had the new Seamasters from Baselworld 2018. Very nice, I prefer the small seconds, but a bit thick for my liking. Pulsometer also very nice, but not for sale. Waiting for the third iteration of the 2998. Stole this wristshot from my friend; only 2 Ultraman (Ultramen?) on the wrists; the others wanted to be different! And two oldies in the group, pre-moon: Special guest!! |

OMG Ultraman. Although that's not the correct Ultraman, the one pictured is the original Ultraman whereas the new Speedmaster Ultraman is actually fromt he series Ultraman Jack.

Is that the new Apollo 8 DSOTM on the wrist of that guy at 1pm? I've never seen it yet at any AD yet... |

You'll notice that the Ultraman on the Wiki page also looks the same. My friends and I, we sat down to discuss this at length. We all grew up watching Ultraman (perhaps Ultraman Jack and not Original Ultraman)... our conclusion was, when we were much younger, we didn't look out for boobs.
Now, clearly things have changed |
