Great Stuff on Hodinkee Today

"How Vintage Watches are Really Bought and Sold" I thought was very interesting. They never really got down to the brass tacks of how it's done. Most dealers preferred to buy from individuals. No big mystery here. Congrats to Hodinkee on their 10 year anniversary. I do appreciate the amount of material they get out and they are always trying new things. I'm not sure of the conflict of interest regarding new watch sales. I do enjoy the sight.

loved the video. Matt B. had so much indigestion while talking, I wonder what he ate for lunch?

Nice one Larry. Thanks for posting.

I’m enjoying the Hodinkee Radio podcasts. It’s a nice medium to hear interesting people talking about watches and other pop culture topics.

Agreed on the conflicts point.

The event was great. I ended up getting to go to the Alton Brown live radio show and got to see a bunch of awesome watches. Free drinks on Friday night was awesome too.

Wish the videos were a bit shorter...Haven't had a spare 50 minutes since I was a student.

Was really excited to watch this particular session but was quite disappointed. Both the A/V quality and content. This could have been really interesting and engaging but the speakers were a bit "meh". Eric was the best of the bunch.

Interesting video, let down by poor sound quality.

So they never answer the question "how vintage watches are really bought and sold?"
