26331 blue

Just took delivery of my 26331st blue.

The color is very dark - almost black.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Were there different versions of this model / blue color?

thanks in advance

Have you taken it out in natural light yet? Looks awesome on your wrist.

Congrats on the ROC! As mentioned, take it outside... let it get some vitamin D and you'll see the glow

This reference and many of the AP blues are on the darker side - I noticed this as well with my 26331OR Blue dial. The computer generated photos are not the best comps for shade of blue.

Nothing wrong with your blue dial, but congrats on the watch!

I was looking at the Code blue and was also thinking this is navy more than blue, AP do go quite dark on blues, really need the light to hit it right.

Looks good to me. That’s the whole idea, that the dial transforms in different light conditions. Otherwise you’d get white or black. The blue is more chameleon in real life.

Congratulations. It is awesome dial. Yes generally it looks navy/dark blue but in the sunlight the blue shines

Mine says hello...

It's a great watch! Does the off centered hour Chrono bother you? Mine is off aligned to the right a little, similar to your photo above.
