U boat/valijoux 7750

I am new to automatic and mechanical watches. I am doung research to become more familiar with brands/movements. Doing research i recently found out that a panerai i had purchased was a fake with likey a seagull movement. Now i am concerned about my uboat. From what i can tell it looks like an authentic uboat with the valijoux 7750, 25 jewel movement. Would someone be willing to validate that or help me know what to look for if it is not an authentic time piece? Also my research has been largely online and youtube - are there better ways to learn about the movements?
