Tudor GMT

Concerning accuracy of my new Tudor GMT Opaline, over a 36 hour period, and using GMT Time to the second, the watch gained 3 sec over that period.
By the way, it doesn't really bother me all this, within limits, even if it gained or lost 5mins a day,i would just adjust the watch accordingly.
But its looking good Tudor.

It's a great looking Tudor. That kind of accuracy shouldn't bother anyone, I would think. Two seconds per day is what some dream of.

Wear it & enjoy it.

I set my Opaline GMT to "timeis" 4 weeks ago. It is sitting 3 seconds fast this morning.

Cheers.

Great watch and well within a tolerance that I’d be happy with

Do you think the watch is too thick? Or is it okay when wearing. The 14mm scares me

Tudor GMT

One thing that impresses me with the Tudor in house movements isn’t necessarily the potential accuracy in timekeeping,

It’s the complete lack of minute and seconds hand play when manipulating the crown. Even at more than 5 years without service.

That's great to hear! it seems like Tudor GMT Opaline is keeping pretty accurate time, Enjoy wearing.

Agree that a 3 seconds gain over a 36 hour period should not bother you.
But disagree with you in that any other reasonable person that owned that watch would not find a 5 minute gain per day even remotely acceptable.

My Tudor GMT gains about 1-2 spd, so after a week it's about 10 seconds fast. Better fast than slow. Love the opaline dial.

I was concerned about the thickness but not an issue.

The unserviced ETA movements in my 2012 Black Bay and 2014 Ranger were still dead on when last checked a couple of months or so ago.

Now those are really great numbers.../\.
.
I don't think I'd be happy with loosing 5 min/day. - That would need adjusting..imo.
