I used to dive with a Seiko --- a LOOOOONG time ago, before I got my Sub. It flooded on a dive to 100 feet, which I did NOT appreciate. Never again. I only dive with my Subs or the SD.

I have three Speedies, but they are like cats around water.

I am surprised to hear that about Seiko, but I can sure understand your reaction. My only Seiko right now is an Orange Monster and I have used it for swimming quite often the last few years. It doesn't keep time as well as most of my other watches but then it was pretty inexpensive. Lume performance at night is quite strong.

Recently I have become interested in the Omega Speedmaster. As a matter of fact, I have been thinking about getting the 50th Anniversary model, the one with the caliber 1861 movement (I hope this is the correct caliber). I have a few divers, I have always found them to be quite useful because I like to swim. But my focus is shifting a little to chronographs and the Speedmaster is the model I am looking at right now.

Here is a photo of my Seiko diver's watch. I really enjoy the Seiko as a companion watch to my Exp II. Cheers, Bill P.
