Looking for help/advice
Good afternoon! I currently own model 16710 and it has been my everyday watch since purchase. That being said I have replaced the insert twice already and was wondering if anyone could recommend someone (maybe in the classifieds) who I could purchase a new insert from?
I'll be putting this guy away for a little bit due to wear and purchasing a DJ41 in the next few days. So, I want to clean this one up before it goes into rotation. Any help/guidance will be appreciated. |

A RSC should sell you one but IMO now would be a good time for a full service, that you have the DJ2 to wear meanwhile.

I had it serviced about 5 yrs ago. It's running perfectly, but I'm extremely hard on my watch so the insert has been dinged up and nicked. Figured I would look to replace it now. Thanks for the feedback. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Why not buy one from RSC? I believe the AL inserts are pretty inexpensive.

The only AD in the area is Mayors and they led me to believe I couldn't just purchase an insert. Or at least they couldn't order it for me. I did attempt to look to see if I could contact the RSC directly but no luck. I'll admit I am a bit of a novice when it comes to this. When I purchased this 15-16 yrs ago I only knew I wanted one, but aside from that nothing. Now that I have had for this long and looking to add a DJ41 I want to clean the GMT up. Find a watchmaker with a parts account..
No reason why the AD couldn't order one, but sales staff is frequently clueless about what they can and cannot do.
