Icon14 Reviewed A 50th Anniversay Omega SS Co-Axial Speedy Today and Now I Own It!

Took a look at both of the SS 50th Anniversary Omega Speedmasters today and ended up walking out with the Co-Axial version! I was really impressed with the watch and the packaging is something else!

I shall try to add a few pictures of the watch, the clear case back and the packaging in the near future.

Here is a picture taken from the Omega website to be getting along with.

the more I look at these babies the more I like 'em. Could Omega be in the cards for me? Maybe just maybe.

Great piece congrats.

Thanks for all the good wishes guys. I hadn't intended on a new purchase so close to having bought my Daytona but I have always liked the Speedmasters with their link to NASA and being in the position to be able to choose from either of the SS 50th anniversary models, given their limited supply in the UK, was too much of a temptation. Lucky I have an understanding wife.

Am quite busy with work at the moment but will try to get some pics online ASAP.

If I come across the 861 movement 50th Anniversary model I will be sorely tempted to take it.

Five Omega dealers in Cardiff so lets see if there are any when I pop in next.

Hi Paul,

The Omega dealer I bought mine from also had the Anniversary Speedmaster with the 861 movement. They are based about 3 miles out of Birmingham. If you PM me I will give you their full details if you'd like? Funnily enough, they were recommended by my Rolex AD who knew them.
