Does bi colour Yachtmaster come with solid centre links?

Dear Forum,

I am in the market for my first Rolex, and the Yachtmaster is the latest model I am considering. I like the 40mm (large size) version in two tone yellow gold and stainless steel. I am just trying to clear something up though. Does anyone know if this watch comes with solid gold centre links, or if the centre links are hollow?

The guy at this watch shop on the phone told me that the bi colour yachtmaster comes with hollow centre links, unlike the submariner and GMT, which have been upgraded to solid centre links.

However, reading through some posts on this forum, it seems like some people here are saying the two tone Yachtmaster does indeed come with solid gold centre links. So just to be certain, are the centre links solid or hollow?

Could someone please clear this up?

Thank you very much!

Amal

The links are hollow, however, still a fun timepiece and one of my favorite Rolex references! Good luck!

Yes it is mine, I acquired it April 2011 (https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=146952).

Here are a few more pics for you to whet your TT YM1 appetite until you get yours!

Love that dial Sam!!

To add.....The New blue dial YM does have the upgraded bracelet (solid) with newer Daytona Style buckle.
Let's just hope the TT version will follow suite.

Agree - love the black mother of pearl dial, how's it look in real life, is it very colourful? I've heard it can vary from watch to watch a lot though.

Also, on a similar note, does anyone know if a present day Rolex Submariner in stainless steel comes with solid centre links? Sorry for the obsession just curious?

Thanks!

IRL the lighting can affect the way the dial looks! I Rolex BMOP dials, however, prefer them to be darker and deep than lighter and milky... Here is my other BMOP timepiece...

The modern Rolex Sub has all Solid links!

Curious. Is there a newer TT Oyster Easylink clasp which has solid links and would fit a TT YM 40mm? Can one be purchased separately, or exchanged at an AD for a little extra money?

Interesting. The SS 16622's bracelet have solid links. I've owned 2 in the past and both had solid links...
