Incoming Patek 5524G Tiffany

Pics to follow but I'm to excited not to post something here. Love this watch and the stamp makes the dial more symetrical for me. Because the little details matter when you are an insane watch collector.

Congrats, its a nice pilot travel-time. I would of not sold my 5167 though but, everyone has their own tastes & can see how some find it basic and not that interesting.

i do want a T stamp Patek for sure. Some of the times i dont like the stamp... 5712 for example. I like it a lot on the 5524. Collectibility, and sort of a rare version of a rare watch and really any patek is somewhat of a rare bird outside of the forum world. Just nice to have that little extra detail that makes it just that much less common. totally irrational i know

I tried one on recently(not the T version). Definitely a cool and unique modern day Patek. Congratulations.

Funny I LOVE the stamp on 5712. To each their own! Such an insane hobby but I love it.

I have two questions on those Tiffany’s:

- are most of those stamped ( considering that I read that great complications are not) ?
- is it possible to just walk inside and buy whatever is available like a Calatrava or a complication or is there a waiting list for everything ?

I meant, of course, grand complications. I always had a problem between "Great" and "Grand" ... not my mother tongue ...

Here’s a link to an article from HODINKEE about the Tiffany dials.

https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/pr...patek-philippe

I was in the NYC boutique last month. They’d a number of Calatrava and ACs on display. If you’ve a specific model in mind I suggest you call them.

Busy with work stuff so apologies for the slow post/reply. Received the watch earlier this week and am super happy so far.
