Nice! I just love that watch! Will definitely bring that on our French vacation this year.

Enjoy your vacation. We planning to drive along northern Spain next year starting in Barcelona up and returning the rental in Madrid. We love Spain--friendliest people and the best food in the Western world (according to Anthony Bourdain). We also love stopping by the Ferrán Adria (considered by most chefs as the world's best chef) & his brother Albert's restaurants in Barcelona.

Looking good! And I love San Sebastian. BTW, You're only a two hour train ride from Pamplona. Do you like Bulls?

Ahhh, yes...this time of year always brings back memories. San Fermin, running with the bulls, drinking kalimotxo, watching the Tour de France in a bar with a bottle of Navarra or Rioja... I miss Spain and Basque Country!

Anyway, great watch. That one is really growing on me. Enjoy the vacation!

Thank you! We drove over 2000 Km all around Spain. Great roads, but low speed limits with LOTS of cameras everywhere. Best advice, set your speed control and enjoy the view. BTW check out the rates from Sixt: Under 600 Euros for 3 weeks in a BMW!

Yes, the Adria brothers own Tickets, a great restaurant if you reserve well in advance (3 months).

Thanks!

We actually drove thru Pamplona on our way to Barcelona... Too crowded to try to do a stopover though...

Tickets was awesome! we went on a "Best of Portugal" tour last year but took a 2-day side trip to Barcelona before our tour, for the purpose of eating at Tickets. It was only a 2-month-on-the-dot reservation (I had to call at exactly 3pm Pacific time/12:00am Barcelona time) to be able to make the window---whew. Well worth it. Check one off from my bucket list

Sadly, couldn't meet any of the brothers as their dad passed away that week.

Whenever we drive in Europe I usually bring my own Garmin and preload them with the latest Euro maps. Somehow found an add-on Speed Camera app for the map as well. Waaay too many traffic cameras (the government will send a bill to your car rental and they will bill you). Setting your cruise control is a smart move.
