INCOMING! Omega Seamaster PO Blue LiquidMetal on Blue strap

Hey all,

I've been wanting something sporty but elegant for a while with a rubber strap. After looking at a few different time pieces, my mind kept going back to the Omega Seamaster PO Liquid Metal on rubber strap in blue. Yesterday, I decided to pull the trigger on one after I left the office. I went to Jared, and I had a great experience. I also received Jared pricing. I don't really know how that compares to other ADs that sell Omega, but it seemed to be a pretty good discount from the MSRP listed on the watch - nearly $1,000 off of the MSRP. Any way, to my little rant regarding the watch itself....

When I think rubber strap, I don't think of the one on this watch. The rubber strap on this watch is durable, but also has a "leather" likeness to it. Needless to say it is very soft! The dial and bezel are absolutely amazing! In some lighting the blue looks very dull, but in others the blue is very vibrant. I really like it, because it's different every where you go. I also like the style of the clasp as well. As far as the rest of the watch goes, well you all know, it's an Omega.

Attached are a few pics of it. The one downside, is that I can't really getting any good pics because of the glare that the dial and bezel give off. It's a beauty to see in person, but not the hottest for pics... So, since I haven't found the best lighting yet, here are a few sub-par pics of it.

If I had the extra funds laying around this would definitely be high on the list of "next ones".

Enjoy...it's a beauty

Thank you, I love it myself! I can't stop staring at it. And I looked at a few different watches. I considered buying a new Rolex like a black submariner and purchasing a rubber strap to go with it. After looking at pics on Rolex forums on the way the sub looked with a rubber strap, I decided that it wasn't for me. So, my mind kept going back to Omega. I was really interested in this reference in blue with blue rubber strap and the GMT version of this watch. In the end, I was caught with making the decision of the GMT or the one I have above (pictured), and I chose this one (obviously).

I'm very glad I chose this one, it is a real beauty!

I agree, the way Omega does the rubber for the POs looks fantastic. Classy and sporty at the same time. I think the rubber b straps don't do the Subs justice. Looks fantastic btw, congrats! Is this one Titanium? I know the regular blue PO is but not sure about the LM model.
