The balance of power in my house hold is 80% the wife....
The other 20% is the kid.

Seriously tho. The watches are a family affair so we have to agree.

Ouch - that's a huge haircut for whoever sold to them (factoring a margin for the dealer) assuming they bought at full retail!

Lovely watch but like most PC outside the 5740 you’ll take a haircut and a half. It’s sad that that’s a factor but it is. I bet you could get one under 70k like new with some searching.

Seems like Patek was slowly releasing this piece. Seems like ADs are starting to get this piece. I think the market will be soft for this one. It is my favorite Patek Perpetual but too risky of a buy for me.

One German AD offered me 64k USD (after full 21% tax refund) last week. Market for PC is that bad except 5740 of course. Strongly hope Patek won't screw up 5270p but I sense it is on the way. This beautiful piece should be in scarce given a high demand prior to its release. Now things turning upside town.

Has to discontinue now in order to hold its future value imo.

Partially true but if I really want to buy it, I believe asking for another 1-2k discount isn’t far way. This 5320 ref. is just dead. It is following 5496 where 40% discount can’t even find a buyer.

I disagree, the 5320 is much nicer looking imo and also more modern due to the case design if compared with the 5396 (is this the one you meant?)

The $70k price tag would be the major barrier vs gunning for a Nautilus!

Being offered approx. MSRP minus VAT refund does not equate to the prices on the 5320 being dead or in the same camp as the 5496P.

I’ve been saying it for a while but seems people hide it well, demand is very very soft! For a number of things

I agree the market for perpetual calendars is very soft (with the exception of 5740G). I recently saw an almost new 5159J at Berry's in Leeds, it was listed for £ 47950 and MSRP was £ 70840

5320g is my favourite AC / PC in the range. The unique thinness of other PC’s eg 3940, 5140/5327 justifies the premium vs AC but for the thicker case of the 5320 it’s a bit too much for me. If market can settle to mid £40’s I’ll be all over it!

Yep compare the 5320 to this - the 5327 G

A big used dealer has three. These are very available as people on the lists have not been taking them for various reasons.
