Would you like to see an Explorer with a green dial?

hmmm. Noooo? I don't think so. there are a tons of shades of green. I actually think the sort of flat green of the 116718 might be cool. (could be wrong on that reference, but I'm talking about the YG GMT with Green dial) I'd have to see a mock up to really weigh in.

Wouldn’t mind a white dial Exp though. HODINKEE did a mock up last year when they thought it might appear at BaselWorld and it looked superb!

it wouldn't be an Explorer to me if the dial was Green, somethings are just best left alone. This is mine and its perfect in every sense.

While I like this idea in theory, the black on white is an extreme level of contrast. IMO the current white dial OP and DJ are just about perfect, leaving little need to add a white dial Exp. Just my opinion, man.

pardon my ignorance, but how would the lume work with black indices? It seems that the lume would either be A). Non existant or B). Not very bright.
I like the look of the white dial with the black indices, but not sure this would work in the real world...would it? |

Actually despite liking it I agree it should be left as it is. This is mine and how I like them most anyway. |

As far as a white dial Exp, alternatives to the black on white mockup above would be to simply lay the markers, hands and numerals filled with superluminova as they currently exist on the mk 2 Exp on top of a white dial, or have the 3-6-9 in white gold like the mk1 had.
