Can a 44 and 42 ROO coexist?

Currently have the 44 titanium and love it. Was looking to add another daily and about to pull the trigger on a Skydweller when I saw the new 42 black / red with ceramic dial and it looked great.

So.....can both the 44 and 42 coexist in the same collection or is it too much of the same ?

Of course; it’s only about getting what you like.

One thought, though: have you considered getting an alternative strap or two for the Ti44? Might satisfy the need for a bit of color.

I’d suggest checking out the AP GP strap with red side accents—available from the service center or by special order from the boutiques. Have one for my RG44. Looks great and very comfortable.

Not only can they coexist, they complement each other

Do not see any reason at all why not. The difference between the pusher design, colours and size keeps them well separated visually.

The CE Black/Red 42mm is very nice indeed.

They can definitely coexist. I have the 44 RG and 42 Red/Black (non-ceramic)

I have a 44 and won't really consider the 42 to be honest. I'd rather get a RO now.

Personal preference, but I'm of the camp that while they can coexist, I'd imagine the 44 gets more time than the 42.

I have to agree with Neil.

RO is (for me) a better pairing.

I say if you can wear the 44, I certainly won't buy the 42 unless its a different watch like the Diver.

RO or the Diver is a better complement than 44 + 42 ROO.

I actually have a 15400or on strap. And a diver which I was going to flip for the 42. I know the diver is different but I like the idea of a ceramic bezel for travel. Plus the 42 fits better under my sleeves at work. The 44 would remain as a more casual piece. I can or course, just get a RO Chrono and be done with it

If you have the 400 and fancy three APs then this is a good plan, altho the CE Diver would be the one I go for.

I guess it's a personal preference. If you truly love the offshore well why not? I do really love the ROO however, after acquiring the ap 44 rg I can hardly wear my ap 42 with out missing the 44rg. So for me I'd prefer adding something else as in my view the 42 and 44 are a similar sport watch and for them to co-exist one would probably have to be a true sport watch for example 1 FC 44 or Titanium + one RG 42 for a sporty yet classy or else I'd prefer wearing the sporty 44 over the 42 most of the time.
