Vintage 15007

I have been wearing my recently acquired Rolex Date. This is a 14k yellow gold case and bracelet reference 15007. It contains a 3035 movement, this was the first Rolex movement that had a quick set date mechanism. It beats at 28,800. The crystal is sapphire replacing plexiglass. The bracelet is a jubilee design. Interesting is that this bracelet has NO removable links. Sizing is done using the clasp adjustment period. Accuracy of the 3035 is amazing when considering it dates from the 1970’s. Using the atomic clock, the watch is maintaining a rate of + 1.475. I’m impressed and the watch and bracelet in 14 k is eye catching.
