Vintage 15007
I have been wearing my recently acquired Rolex Date. This is a 14k yellow gold case and bracelet reference 15007. It contains a 3035 movement, this was the first Rolex movement that had a quick set date mechanism. It beats at 28,800. The crystal is sapphire replacing plexiglass. The bracelet is a jubilee design. Interesting is that this bracelet has NO removable links. Sizing is done using the clasp adjustment period. Accuracy of the 3035 is amazing when considering it dates from the 1970’s. Using the atomic clock, the watch is maintaining a rate of + 1.475. I’m impressed and the watch and bracelet in 14 k is eye catching.

Subtle size at 34mm and elegant YG makes for a great combination. Enjoy
One quick note: your Jubilee has had its removable links taken away by a previous owner. When originally made at the factory it would have had several links with screws to size the bracelet. The clasp adjustment was a way to fine tune final fitment. But if it fits you then that’s all that matters. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Thanks for that info. I had a difficult time imagining Rolex designers making it with no screw links. The bracelet fits and as you say, “that’s all that counts”.
