Pen Place Kansas City Missouri
www.penplace.com (Their website is not great, but good for their contact information).

David and Mark are great people and they offer 20% discount minimum. Even off special orders and pens like Montblanc and Yard O Led. Just great people.

Honestly anything I could get anywhere else, these folks can get and I go through them as that is the kind of loyalty the deserve!

There was an outstanding one here in Philly, but unfortunately, it went out of business. I really love Bromfield's the best! You order a pen, it's discounted and at your door the next day.

Sorry, it's www.bromfieldpenshop.com. For this faux pas, please don't send me to Poster's Prison.

Listen up, fellow pen lovers, something just occurred to me . .. We should unite for our next acquisitions and give one collective order to a pen dealer since that leaves us in a position of power to haggle due to volume. Any thoughts?

It would be interesting to see how much discount we can collectively leverage.

Here's my recommendation . . . Let's start a list of everyone's "next acquisition," let it sit for a few weeks to see how many join us. What about we each take responsibility for calling a couple of pen shops, pool our findings, and see who offers the best deal? Please put your suggestions and feedback here. Thanks, guys.

Just a thought for the collective purchase, we could use someone like Brian at Edison pens in the US.

He custom makes pens at a very reasonable price, folks could choose if they wanted to save a bit of money and go for a steel nib or spend a bit more and go for Gold! He could put a special engraving on it and he tunes all of the nibs to individual requierments anyway so everyone would end up with their perfect nib!

His prices are very reasonable and that might encourage folks who are either just starting out on fountain pens or who have taken a bit of a beating on the old finacial front lately.
Just a thought to add to the pot.
Here is Brian's link, what do you guys think??

I have admired his pens for a few months now and that might be something we could certainly consider.

Some of his work.

And I really like this one!

I know very little about this company, but their website has some of the better detailed pictures of pens that I have seen on the web. Equally impressive (to me at least) was their selection of pen refills for rollerball and ball point.

Anyway, the name is Colorado Pen Direct:
