Going to Disneyworld!
Next month with the family we're going to Disneyworld, staying at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. I'm just the cool uncle that is going with my sisters family. They have a 14 year old, 11 year old and 7 year old daughter.
I'm sure the list is long, but is there anything that is a must see/do? Has anyone stayed at that resort? Any thoughts? |

Watch those metal bars while standing in the line for rides. They are a watch killer!

I’m sure you’ll have a great time.
I have only been to Disney – Paris which I understand is much, much smaller – but has plenty to keep me and my girls happy for a few days. I really enjoy the Ratatouille ride – don’t miss it. My only other tip would be to pack plenty of fruit as it seems Disney is adverse to selling anything healthy! |

We love Disney World and travel there annually. Our next trip is planned for mid May. How long will y'all be in town for? That will determine what you can squeeze in. I would recommend going to all 4 parks if you can (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios, and Epcot). The fireworks at the end of the day are always nice. I could write a book on places to go and things to see at DW but what I would suggest is wake up early and get to the park as soon as it opens, grab a park map, and start planning your day. We normally devote our time to one park each day and our favorite is the Magic Kingdom. When you enter the park for the first time and walk down main street toward the castle it will be magical. Have fun on your trip and be sure to let us know how it goes.

You're right, you will average 20-30K steps per day. Enjoy all the watch spotting.

For most adults the parks are exhausting. It's all about the little ones. |

Oh man I don’t envy you. I think I literally rather spend three days in prison then go to Disney world for three days. luckily my kids have grown up and I don’t have to go anymore. :-)
Have fun. And yes DavidSW’s store is right there and very nice. Stop and see him. Very cool guy.

Have fun at Disney. I really enjoyed my time at Epcot and the whole round the world theme, definitely worth checking out!

Go online and square away your fast passes now. They will be sold out if you wait.

Had a co worker who just got back. Took his 35 year old son. Stood in line an hour for some ride then they told him he was too fat to get on. How rude and insensitive could you be
The child literally lost it and it ruined his experience. By the way the son did enjoy drinking his way around the world. He will never get to ride “ space mountain “ if you know what I mean. ( wink wink) |
