It's these direct insults from baby mods (rats) and this one mod above, saying that new members are ruining this place. This is what got under my skin (being one of these new guys) and lead to my attempt to help out..But we all know "No good deed ever goes unpunished...". I'd have to say if these very same people aren't happy with what this place has morphed into, then here let ME show YOU the door.....



So, these glory days (others seem to have lost) I can not answer to, as I wasn't lucky enough to have afforded the Rolex on my arm earlier in life and found this place. As I have said, I'm learning here, and still trying to figure out why some off topic threads remain in General and then directly related ones get moved....Ass kissing might be it?

What are “baby mods”? And how are they rats? I’m just curious.

You seemed okay until your comment about your “real cars in your garage”. That’s cool, you like cars. This a watch forum, we like watches.

The guy insinuated earlier about my baby car on my avatar, just a poke back at him in FUN! I like cars and watches!!

These "want to be mods" are ass kissing people, that love to hit that little report button. Like hatching an egg. EVERY forum has them.....Yes, I've been reported already!

It's a watch forum not life or death! It's fun to learn!!!

I don’t agree with the mods all the time, but that’s fine. Every forum needs mods and their word should be final. I personally appreciate the job they do.

I’ve been ‘collecting’ for a while now and I’ve got an ok collection, but I still ask some ignorant questions at times, and when I’m put right, I’m ok with that.

Go with the flow, or not, the choice is yours.

Hi 77T, No, not moving any thread which has happened already, what do I know...? It's reading posters say things like new members should be kept sparse and pretty much to be quiet...With the addition of this places demise by new members....tough for a new guy to read I guess?

I understand better now.

There should be better behavior among some members - among both the long-tenured ones as well as the newer ones - who aim derision toward some posts.

The good thing is Mods will rein them in with warnings and ultimately banning anyone who won’t stay civil.
