Just got my Newman Holy Grail!!

Hi Guys.

Been searching for an ultra mint Screw Down for a very long time! Finally came across this with Rolex Service papers box etc
And managed to source it from someone who was the original owner who bought it in 1971. Case number is around 3m.

Cant take my eyes off this thing.. just took some pictures this morning, hope you like them...

Cheers

Hello Learnmore60!!
Congrats on this most wonderful finding.
I personally feel this is the more beautiful of all so called "Paul Newman" configurations. A true Grail for any collector of fine watches.
Due to the very few specimens available and the prices they reach, I know I´ll never get on of this for my own collection, but I can assure you that I would love to own one!

I can well understand your enthusiasm, and thrill for owning such a great piece, and I wish you will enjoy this beautiful watch in good health.
Thank you for sharing your jewell!
Very cordially, Abel.
