Price list for service

How guys,

Is there a list of approximate prices on this thread for recommended watch repair and services? I look at many websites, but don’t see any. Talking about non RSC shops. The only site I recall is the Watch Doctor with his prices listed.

Thanks

AWCI used to send out an annual survey to watchmakers nationwide about pricing. The federal trade commission made them stop in 1989 because they said that it encouraged price-fixing.

It is hilarious that the federal trade commission was this strong on this issue on this back then vs. now.

The most reliable method is to cross- check with RSC and independents. LAWW
and Rolliworks along with Rikki in FL. are good examples. A full reliable service and lubrication-cleaning usually runs $375-400.
You get what you pay for-make it a reliable W-21 shop. Due diligence is the key.

Thanks, I’m going RSC route want the additional warranty-I need crystal replaced too. Is Toronto cheaper than Dallas? I am in NYC, but heard too many horror stories about NYC.
