Trade Speedy Hesalite vs Tudor BBB

Hi all,

I have been offered a trade for my speedmaster Hesalite (superluminova) with a Tudor black bag blue in-house movement plus about 400 bucks.

Is the trade economically good?

Thanks!

Maybe economically but I would keep the speedy. Unless you really want a B.B.

Cant speak to the economics as that changes. The speedy is an icon, period. The tudor-not so much. But if you don't like it or its not getting the wrist time, then set it free.

Why do you want to make the trade? Are you looking for a watch for water sports?

I don't think that's a trade that I would go through. And if you want a watch for the water, keep the Speedy, buy a Seiko diver for $400. :)

From a $ it seems ok, you have to decide which watch you want the most.

Don’t. The Black Bay might be one of the worst wearing watches there is. Thick and slab-sided, hard to change the straps, etc. The BB58 would be worth considering.

I did this trade when the BB Black first came out. Regretted it about 24 hours afterwards.

Not enough $$$

If the trade were the BB +$800 or so it would be about right.

I have the BB Blue and love it. Never had any issues wearing it with the exception of wearing under a dress cuff.

Not a good deal financially. Money is off $500-100. Personal preference though.

Me too. But I'm not a fan of modern Tudor in general.

Omega over Tudor almost every time. Certainly in this case.

Nah. Not for one of those chunky black bays.

I have a speedy pro and a BB58. Despite how great I think the BB58 is, it's no Speedmaster.

Please don’t ever do this.

Don’t even think about it again.

Blasphemy.
