Incoming !! Baselworld 2019 Casio G-shock GMW-B5000V

I know the forum does not have the hots for digital watches. But this watch is so amazing I was shocked I pulled the trigger so quickly.

The distressed look according to Casio is the statement of its durability. Patina Japanese style.

they say this is a ghost coz it is rare. Me thinks the finish is top notch and the faded metal looks like it’s the ghosts of all the hardship and survived in another form.

There are more people on this forum than you think with digital watches, especially G-shocks. I think its a must have for most collections. I myself have the same guts as your watch but with a different case and bracelet. The model GW-M5610BC-1JF.

Let’s see more pictureeees cheers. Trying to get used to the heft of the watch. This means quality?

Yours seem to have metal bracelet how does the finish age?

Only the binding links of the bracelet are hollow metal. The other half of the link is resin as well as the case and protective shield. The watch is quite light actually and sometimes feels cheap on the wrist but its quite strong. I beat it up daily and its still going strong.

The GMW B5000 full metal square range are amazing. I personally like the black metal (not distressed) with the negative display - stealth!

A G-Shock should be a staple of every WIS's collection.

Thank you guys! This makes for a great travel watch also. This is taken at the Cu Chi Tunnel. Taken next to a tank destroyed by land mine in 1970.

Tons of us are harboring G-Shocks. I’ve had my Giez for a long time.

The price bites a bit, but I am down with the first two versions (gold, steel).
